Mr. Joseph Raymond Peloton, RN, Health Education and Promotions Officer from the San Pedro City Health Office, opened the discussion by highlighting the importance of early detection and community education in combating tuberculosis. Dr. Maria Luisa Salting, MD, an Internal Medicine specialist with a focus on Pulmonology, provided an in-depth overview of the medical aspects of tuberculosis, including symptoms, treatment options, and preventive measures. Lastly, Mr. Rodel Marasigan, TB Coordinator at the San Pedro City Health Office, shared valuable information on local initiatives and support systems available for TB patients.
